Connect Claude, then publish a site

LandingConnect is a connector for Claude. Add it once, then just ask Claude to build, clone, and publish websites — each goes live at a real URL in seconds. Here's everything you need.

01 Add the connector to Claude

LandingConnect is a remote connector — there's nothing to install. It works anywhere you use Claude: chat, Cowork, and Claude Code. You add one URL and sign in once.

  1. Open Claude's connector settings In Claude, go to Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
  2. Paste the connector URL Enter https://connect.landingconnect.com/mcp and save.
  3. Authorize once A browser sign-in appears the first time — approve it and you're connected. No codes, no account setup. It stays connected after that.

Early access is free, and every capability is unlocked. If a tool ever says unauthorized, just re-authorize the connector in your Claude settings.

02 Build & publish a site

Once connected, you just talk to Claude in plain language. Building the site is the only real wait — publishing itself is instant. There are four common starting points:

  1. Build something newDescribe it. Claude asks a few non-technical questions, writes the pages, and publishes them.
  2. Clone an existing sitePaste a URL — even a WordPress site — and Claude rebuilds it as fast static HTML you can edit by chatting.

Your site goes live at <name>.landingconnect.com. Updates are just another deploy — the URL never changes, and you can roll back to any previous version in one step.

03 Your own domain & SSL

Your free <name>.landingconnect.com URL is your working preview — instant and permanent. When you're ready to go live on your own domain, Claude walks you through it and SSL is issued automatically — no certificate steps.

Connect your domain

  1. Ask Claude to connect it Claude runs a quick pre-flight: it detects your registrar (GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare, Squarespace, Wix, Route 53, Porkbun, and more) and gives you the exact record plus click-by-click steps for your provider — and warns you about the common gotchas (a root/apex domain, a Cloudflare "orange cloud", or a domain that's already live).
  2. Add the record at your registrar Add the one CNAME it gives you, kept DNS-only (no proxy). Claude shows exactly where in your provider. Root/apex domain? Use www, or your registrar's ALIAS / ANAME / CNAME-flattening — and if it only allows A records at the root, Claude hands you the exact A record to use instead.
  3. Watch it go live The status walks pending DNS → DNS found → issuing SSL → live — usually just a couple of minutes. Ask Claude to check anytime; the certificate issues on its own.

Go live on your own domain

Once your domain is live, make it your primary address. Your preview URL keeps working — it now 301-redirects to your domain, so links and search rankings consolidate on your brand. Changed your mind? Promote the preview URL back anytime.

04 Privacy & visibility

Every site has a visibility setting you control by asking Claude:

  • Public — indexed by search engines. Best for a real website you want found.
  • Unlisted — anyone with the link can view, but it's not indexed. Ideal for sharing a report or draft.
  • Private — requires a password you set. For proposals and client-only pages.

05 Tool reference

The connector exposes 27 tools. You rarely call them by name — you just ask Claude in plain language and it picks the right one. Read-only tools are marked read; tools that change your site or account are marked write.

Do I need a special Claude plan?
No. LandingConnect works as a custom connector on any Claude plan that supports connectors — you just paste the URL above. Early access is free.
How fast is publishing?
Publishing is well under a second. The only real wait is Claude building the site itself; the deploy is instant, and the URL never changes on updates.
Can I undo a bad change?
Yes. Every deploy is versioned. Ask Claude to roll back and it restores a previous version in one step.
What can I host?
Static sites — HTML, CSS, JS, images, fonts, and documents. Perfect for landing pages, brochure sites, reports, and WordPress replacements.
Is there a dashboard?
Yes — app.landingconnect.com gives you sites, domains, traffic, visibility controls, and account settings.
What data do you store?
